ABOUT THE PROGRAM

About The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at NIMS, College of Physiotherapy is a four-and-a-half-year program, including a 6-month rotatory internship. It equips students with theoretical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of physical dysfunctions.

The Comprehensive curriculum, aligned with MUHS guidelines, spans key subjects such as Human Anatomy, Physiology, Medicine, Surgery, Pathology, Orthopaedics, Kinesiology and Movement Sciences, Biomechanics, and Rehabilitation Sciences. White Coat & Welcoming Ceremony (March 3, 2025):

The White Coat Ceremony marked the formal induction of first-year BPT students, emphasizing professionalism and ethics in physiotherapy. The event featured inspirational speeches, felicitation of dignitaries, and a ceremonial coat presentation. It concluded with a vibrant Fresher’s Party full of performances, games, and a ramp walk. The day celebrated both the solemn start of a professional journey and youthful enthusiasm.

International Women’s Day Musculoskeletal Camp (March 11, 2025):

First-year physiotherapy students conducted a musculoskeletal assessment and physiotherapy camp for women staff at Noble Hospital. They assessed 53 participants, addressing common complaints like back, knee, and shoulder pain. Educational materials and ergonomic guidance were provided. The camp promoted both patient well-being and practical learning for students.

World Health Day Webinar (April 7, 2025):

To celebrate World Health Day, a webinar was held focusing on maternal and newborn health and the role of physiotherapy in women’s health. Dr. Sunita Patel shared her expertise on pelvic health, pregnancy care, and postnatal rehab. Students gained insight into specialized career paths and participated in interactive discussions. The session successfully raised awareness and inspired first-year BPT students

World Asthma Day Event (May 6, 2025)

On World Asthma Day 2025, the College of Physiotherapy at Noble Institute of Medical Sciences organized an insightful webinar to raise awareness about asthma and lung health. Dr. Samana Sayed (PT) delivered an engaging session on the role of physiotherapy in managing asthma and improving respiratory function. First-year students actively participated and gained valuable knowledge. Following the webinar, fun activities like the Balloon Blow Challenge, S, and Breath-Holding Contest reinforced key concepts through hands-on learning.
