The Anaesthesia department at Noble Hospital provides world-class anesthesia services for all surgical specialties within the hospital, in addition to 24-hour on-call emergency services. We are a group of 7 consultant anaesthesiologists and 4 DNB students providing anesthesia, pain and critical care services in the hospital.

The department is committed to evidence-based best practice, continuous quality improvement, research, and teaching.

The hospital has 8 operating theatres that cater for all major types of adult and paediatric surgeries. These include orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, urology, plastic surgery, faciomaxillary surgery, ENT/head and neck surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, ophthalmic surgery, general surgery, obstetrics, and gynaecological surgery, Robotic joint replacement surgery, IVF procedures

The department also renders services outside operation theatre in departments like emergency care, radiology, MRI, CT scan, Cath lab, endoscopy for various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

In addition, the department provides expertise in airway management, resuscitation and trauma management, chronic pain blocks. Courses are hosted in airway training, basic and advanced life support training. The Department promotes quality research and is also active in conducting regular CMEs and workshops as a part of Pune Society of Anaesthesiologists.

We are using advanced anaesthesia monitors and types of equipment like fiberoptic bronchoscope, video laryngoscope, ultrasound machine and peripheral nerve stimulator for regional blocks, combined spinal-epidural sets, peripheral nerve block catheters, neonatal epidural catheters, supraglottic devices, Mini-trach tracheostomy, cricothyrotomy set, etc.

We have received DNB accreditation since 4 years. We have also received ‘cGreen OT certification 2017’ from Bureau Veritas, a global certification agency since three years for our environment-friendly operation theatres and practices.
